Aerodrome lighting

The ATF area excludes the Montréal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau and Montréal/Met control zones, and the Class C airspace of the Montreal TCA.

The lighting is keyed on the same frequency as the ATF: 5 clicks of the transmit button within 5 seconds. It is not published in the CFS — plan for it before a night flight and confirm with the operator.

Caution — obstacles published in the CFS.
  • Lighted and unlighted wind turbines to 607 ft ASL (456 ft AGL) west of threshold 13.
  • Wind turbines to 653 ft ASL (456 ft AGL) approximately 0.7 NM south and southwest of the aerodrome.
  • A 30 ft AGL power line crosses the approach to Runway 31, 1,400 ft from the displaced threshold.

Circuit and procedures

Detailed circuit, arrival and departure procedures are provided to members and authorized visitors when the PPR is confirmed.

Left-hand circuit for both runway directions (13 and 31), at the published altitude; announce your intentions on the ATF frequency (123.2 MHz). Keep a sharp lookout given ultralight and recreational traffic in the area.

For any question about these procedures, contact the operator. Contact us

Noise abatement — turn over the fields.
  • Left-hand circuit for Runways 13 and 31, without exception.
  • Make your circuit turns over the farmland, in the middle of the fields, and not over the houses.
  • An operator instruction, out of respect for the neighbours; it does not appear in the CFS.

Safety rules — summary

  • Prior permission (PPR) is mandatory for all visiting aircraft.
  • Taxi at reduced speed; give way to aircraft moving toward the runway.
  • No passengers or spectators on the manoeuvring area without an escort.
  • Fuelling: engine off, aircraft grounded, no ignition sources nearby.
  • Respect the neighbours: avoid low-altitude overflights of nearby residential areas.
  • Report any incident or hazardous condition to the operator without delay.
  • Take-off between 21:00 and 07:00: special permission from the operator is mandatory, in addition to the PPR.
  • Left-hand circuit; make your turns over the fields, never over the houses.

Fuelling — priority and conduct

  • Respect the physical arrival order at the pump; the online queue must reflect the line on the apron.
  • Respect granted priorities (approved position requests, consented swaps and gifted spots).
  • Abusing the queue or the priority system may lead to revocation of fuelling privileges.

For any question about these rules, contact the operator. Contact us

Runway, communications and obstacle data from the Canada Flight Supplement (CFS / GPH 205), effective 22 January 2026 to 19 March 2026. The night take-off restriction, the pilot-controlled lighting, the circuit direction and the noise-abatement instructions are operator-supplied information and do not appear in the CFS.
